FLORIDA SPRINGS & CAVES for DIVING
North and Central Florida Springs and Spring Caves are shown here. The red in the image is Paradise Found Island Retreat. You can see how close it is the some of the best diving. Very little is outside a two hour drive and many are within a 1/2 hour drive.
Here is an article from the Citrus Chronicle that will give you some of the information on the reef. The distance from the mouth of the Homosassa River is about 15 miles. The distance from the mouth of Crystal River is about 10 miles. From Paradise Found Island Retreat, the trip is about 12 miles total, 8 miles from the mouth of the St. Martins River, our path to the Gulf.
